Fire in Northern Colorado Today: Emergency Crews Respond as Wildfire Activity Continues

NORTHERN COLORADO — September 18, 2026: Firefighters across Colorado remain engaged in wildfire response as officials monitor ongoing fire activity and changing conditions across the state.

The latest National Interagency Fire Center report said firefighters were working to contain 50 uncontained large fires nationwide as of Friday, with more than 12,000 personnel assigned to wildfire incidents.
